The Circular Leafminer Moth (Leucoptera milifoliella) when mass breeding can cause leaf fall in August and September. As a result of severe damage, the fruits remain small, regardless of high agricultural practices (pruning, watering, fertilizing, soil cultivation, and multiple treatments against the codling moth). The varieties Melrose and Florina are most severely affected.. Temperatures of 18-35°C and humidity of 65-80%, maintained in gardens through multiple waterings, very well-developed foliage, etc., contribute to the mass reproduction of the moth.
