Investments in wineries

From 1 to 21 April 2022, applications are accepted for the granting of financial aid under measure “Investments in Enterprises” from the National Support Programme for the Wine Sector 2019 – 2023.

Enterprises registered as wine producers in the vineyard register maintained by the Executive Agency on Vine and Wine, as well as producer organisations, associations of producer organisations and interbranch organisations in the wine grape sector, may benefit from financial support under measure “Investments in Enterprises”.

The budget under the measure for 2022 is BGN 7,129,416.90. The maximum value of a single project may not exceed EUR 800,000, and the maximum amount of total eligible expenditure for the entire period of the National Support Programme for the Wine Sector 2019 – 2023 for one applicant is EUR 2 million.

For the current financial year, the increased percentage of European funding for submitted projects is retained, depending on the type of enterprises. Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises receive up to 70% EU funding, large enterprises with an annual turnover of less than EUR 200 million and fewer than 750 employees – 35%, and large enterprises with a turnover of more than EUR 200 million and more than 750 employees – 25%. The remaining part of the costs shall be borne by the beneficiaries of the financial aid.

Documents under the measure shall be submitted in person or through an authorised representative at the Central Office of the State Fund “Agriculture”.
