Support for greenhouse vegetable producers

From 28 March 2022 to 11 April 2022, applications for support under the de minimis scheme for registered farmers producing greenhouse products will be accepted at the regional directorates of the State Fund „Agriculture“ (SFA). The funds will be paid by 29 April 2022.

The SF „Agriculture“ has decided to allocate BGN 3.5 million in de minimis aid to greenhouse vegetable producers due to the increased gas prices. Following consultation with the sector, it was decided that the approved resource will be provided to greenhouse producers to cover part of the production costs under the technological card for the 2022 harvest.

Farmers growing vegetables under greenhouse production (tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers) may apply from 28 March to 11 April 2022. The rate is set at BGN 5,400/ha. The support applies to both heated and unheated greenhouses.

All farmers who have submitted an application under the Scheme for Coupled Support for Greenhouse Vegetables (SCG) – Campaign 2021 may submit documents for the aid. They are supported for the established areas after the administrative and/or on-the-spot checks carried out, including after the verification of the marketing of the production under the Scheme for Coupled Support for Greenhouse Vegetables (SCG) – Campaign 2021.
