AMILIS is an innovative technology for nitrogen management in the soil. It contains two specially selected bacterial strains that contribute to the decomposition of plant residues, mineralization of organic matter, fixation of nitrogen from the atmosphere and in the soil, and stimulation of root development. It also acts as an antagonist to pathogenic microorganisms in the soil.

It is extremely suitable for application in conservation farming technologies such as minimum tillage and no-till, because it can be safely mixed with phosphorus and nitrogen liquid fertilizers that are applied during sowing. Limiting factors for the development of the bacteria are light and soil moisture, therefore during the vegetation period it is recommended to apply it with a sufficient amount of water (not less than 20 l/ha). Five days after the application of the product, auxins produced by the bacteria are present, which are extremely important for the development of the root system.

After one week the nitrogen also becomes available to the crop, which during the vegetation period is equivalent to 2.5 kg of pure nitrogen as active ingredient per hectare. One of the advantages of this product is that its price does not increase with the rise in the price of natural gas, as is the case with conventional nitrogen. Thus, it is a budget-friendly product with which you could reduce nitrogen application rates.
