'Seed and planting material exchange'

The opening of the Seed and Planting Material Exchange on February 3rd, as part of the Dobrich Fair, traditionally marks the beginning of the 2015 agricultural calendar.

During the Seed and Planting Material Exchange, the awards of Dobrich Fair AD "Bulgarian Seed Producer" and "Trade Representative Office" are presented.

The exhibition's task is to attract the attention of both professional farmers and more gardeners and vegetable growers. Thematically, the exchange is focused on seeds for spring and autumn crops, vegetable crops, flower seeds, planting material, fertilizers, fertilizer-soil mixtures, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, acaricides, biological plant protection products, greenhouses and conservatories, etc. Increased interest is expected in spring seeds - sunflower, corn, and soybeans, whose campaign has already started. For the first time, a new bio-fertilizer obtained from Californian worms will be shown, and there will also be agricultural machinery.

"Over 65 companies from the country and abroad have declared their participation. The Seed and Planting Material Exchange is a regulated form of international exchange in the field of seed production," the fair's organizers announced.
