Инstitute of Agriculture in Kyustendil offers planting material for various fruit species

As of 1 November 2021, the Institute of Agriculture – Kyustendil is offering high-quality planting material of the fruit species apple, sweet cherry, sour cherry and plum.

For apples grafted on MM 106 rootstock, you can choose between the cultivars “Florina”, “Granny Smith”, “Mutsu”, “Fuji”, “Pinova”, “Pink Lady”, “Elegia”, “Golden Delicious”, “Red Delicious”, “Marlena”, “Besapara”, “Martinica”, “Siyana”, “Gorana”, “Mollie’s Delicious”, “Gingy Gold”. According to the information on the Institute’s website, the price of the apple cultivar saplings is BGN 4 per piece.

For sweet cherries on mahaleb cherry rootstock, four cultivars will be offered – “Vasinika”, “Danelia”, “Stefania”, “Van” at a price of BGN 5 per piece.

High-quality planting material of sour cherries on mahaleb cherry M-15 rootstock at a price of BGN 5 per piece is also offered by the Institute in Kyustendil.

The plum cultivar that will be offered this year is “Stanley”, with myrobalan plum as the rootstock, and the price is again BGN 5 per piece.
