Academy for Agricultural Education and
Science - Supporting Agribusiness

On 15 November 2021 (Monday) at 17:30 the opening of the Second Academic Year of the “Academy of Agricultural Education and Science” (www.acadzon.bg) is forthcoming with the module “Applied Aspects of Plant Protection”. Training at AZON is conducted in a combined form – online, during the least active agricultural period (from mid-November to mid-March) and in person, in the field – according to a specific schedule in the active season.

During this academic year the Academy is expanding its activities by covering a total of 7 modules, which include 19 academic disciplines. In addition to the two modules, “Applied Aspects of Plant Protection” (with 6 disciplines) and “Soil Health” (with 4 disciplines), with which it launched its activities in 2020, AZON offers the following five modules: “Economic, Organizational and Institutional Issues of Agribusiness” (with 4 disciplines), “Agroecology and Organic Farming” (with 2 disciplines), “Plant Breeding and Seed Production”, “Viticulture” and “Fruit Growing”, each of them with one academic discipline. Those wishing to study at the Academy have the opportunity to enroll in more than one module simultaneously. The academic curricula presented on the Academy’s website may undergo certain changes, taking into account the interests of the trainees. The lecturers at the “Academy of Agricultural Education and Science” are among the best-prepared and most recognizable specialists in their field in Bulgaria.
