Shock dose of good news for the Student Council of the Agricultural University in Plovdiv

With the cooperation of Associate Professor Dr. Miroslav Tityanov, a lecturer at the higher education institution, a modern office hall was furnished for the management of the local student organization.

The special ceremony on the occasion of the opening of the new office, located in one of the university’s teaching buildings, brought together a colorful crowd – students from all faculties and majors. Also present was the university academic staff – the Rector Prof. Dr. Hristina Yancheva, Vice-Rectors and Deans, the Assistant Rector Velichko Rodopski, who also holds the position of Deputy Mayor of Plovdiv.

Before the official opening of the office hall, the Chair of the Student Council, Hristo Kozarov, presented awards to several students who graduated with distinction, as well as to the winners of the photo contest organized by the Student Council. Hristo Kozarov expressed special gratitude to Associate Professor Dr. Miroslav Tityanov for his responsible partnership, which contributed to the successful implementation of an important social project.

Prof. Hristina Yancheva noted that this office, furnished in a modern and functional manner, is an indication of the connectedness and mutual trust between lecturers and students in the name of the key strategic cause – the creation of highly professional and competent agronomic personnel – the structured, basic management model of contemporary modern Bulgarian agriculture, as part of the European agri-space.

She drew attention to the fact that the academic leadership highly appreciates the activity, the ideological drive, the ambition, the engagement and the optimism of the Student Council in addressing all challenges related to social adaptation, the quality of professional training and the future career realization of tomorrow’s agronomists. In other words, said Prof. Yancheva, the university leadership does not hide its satisfaction with the collaboration between all participants in the educational process, and knows the value of what we can do together today for tomorrow. Dialogue generates new energy and new ideas. It unites and consolidates. Together we work at a high level!

The “driving force” behind the implementation of the university event, Associate Professor Dr. Miroslav Tityanov, also expressed his position on what was happening. In his address to the participants in the ceremony, he stated: “It is an honor for me to attend this event, which illustrates the attitude of the management and the entire academic staff of the Agricultural University towards the significance of the Student Council. This gesture is a consequence of the great faith, trust and respect for the role you play in the life of our large family. You are that connecting part which is responsible for the strength of the entire chain. Today we are witnesses that in the most fertile soil, with much love and care, the little seed has been sown. With mutual work and effort, we can create only perennial, strong and high-yielding crops. Personally, I strongly believe that no storm, no weed will be able to affect this, if we approach our work seriously, responsibly, patiently and professionally. Let us, like the sunflower, also look in one direction. The only right one – towards the light of the Sun!”
