Кои са шестте различни ползи при третирането на слънчоглед с Амалгерол Есенс? (Част I)

Bulgaria holds strong positions in sunflower production among the EU countries, and every domestic producer faces the challenge of how to increase the quantity and quality of the yield while at the same time preserving soil fertility. The answer is one – the use of the uniquely formulated biostimulant AMALGEROL ESSENCE, which acts simultaneously in three directions: soil, roots and plant.

1. AMALGEROL ESSENCE – tested at IRGR Sadovo – high and quality yields in sunflower

To demonstrate the application and benefits of the product AMALGEROL ESSENCE, a trial was conducted at the Institute of Plant and Genetic Resources in Sadovo. The trial covers three crops – wheat, sunflower and maize and shows the effect of the application of the biostimulant.

The sunflower was sown at the end of March 2019. The plants emerged on time and developed well. The first treatment with AMALGEROL ESSENCE at a rate of 200 ml/da was carried out in mid-April at the 5–6 pair of leaves stage. The next application was at the beginning of the budding stage. In the control, a conventional sunflower growing technology was used and the obtained yield was 132 kg/da. The control is compared with a variant in which the biostimulant was applied twice at a rate of 200 ml/da and the yield was 232 kg/da. An increase in yield of 75% is recorded compared to the conventional technology.

Chief Assistant Dr. Nikolaya Velcheva from IRGR Sadovo shares an astonishing result from the application of the product AMALGEROL ESSENCE: “48 hours after the application of AMALGEROL ESSENCE, a darkening of the leaves is observed, which indicates a very good nitrogen supply. The plants overcame very well the stress caused by drought in 2019. With the double application of AMALGEROL ESSENCE, very well-filled heads are obtained, with no empty seeds, darker leaves with a large surface area, indicating very good photosynthetic activity. We, the scientists from IRGR in Sadovo, confidently recommend the product to farmers and are convinced of its effect both from an environmental and an economic point of view.”

2. AMALGEROL ESSENCE stimulates root growth

The biostimulant AMALGEROL ESSENCE activates and stimulates the root system of plants through the plant hormones and organic carbon, which are part of the seven elements in the composition of the product. In the treated plant we observe a denser root system, which ensures better access to nutrients (N) and water, even if they are located further away and are less mobile (P, K).

3. AMALGEROL ESSENCE after the use of the wrong herbicide

A farmer from the region of Svilengrad relied on the Clearfield technology for tolerant sunflower hybrids. The herbicides used for treatment are based on the active substance Imazamox. Due to an error, an area of 300 da was treated with a herbicide based on the active substance Tribenuron-methyl, which is used for Express-tolerant sunflower hybrids. As a result of the treatment with the wrong plant protection product, the entire crop turned yellow, and on 1–2% of the plants the vegetative tip even started to die. The damage is severe and in such a situation the usual approach is to plough up the entire affected area, because the hybrid dies.

Relying on the qualities of the uniquely formulated biostimulant AMALGEROL ESSENCE and its ability to prove its effect in crisis situations, the farmer did not give up, but chose the right biostimulant.

Two applications of AMALGEROL ESSENCE were carried out on the recommendation of the sales representative of Medi Plus R:

• The first treatment was at a rate of 220 ml/da, 4 days after spraying with the wrong herbicide.
• The second was 6 days after the first treatment at a rate of 200 ml/da.

Only 20 days after the first treatment with AMALGEROL ESSENCE, the results are evident: the leaf mass has increased, the plants are healthy and vigorous, the leaf colour is dark green and there are no signs of yellowing or stress.
