From this season, Syngenta Bulgaria is introducing a new herbicide as a solution for controlling broadleaf weeds in wheat and barley - Cameo Max.
Cameo Max is a selective systemic herbicide that is absorbed through the leaves and roots of the weeds.
A combination of two active substances that have an exceptionally good synergy of action with each other, as a result of which Cameo Max provides excellent control of a wide spectrum of annual broadleaf weeds, including those resistant to 2,4-D in wheat and barley.
At a rate of 4 g/da it controls broadleaf weeds such as wild mustard, field pennycress, chamomile, corn poppy, shepherd’s purse, lamb’s quarters, cleavers, creeping thistle, violet, chickweed, volunteer conventional oilseed rape and conventional sunflower, etc. A few days after treatment the first visible symptoms appear – the weeds turn yellow, after which they completely die within 10–15 days after treatment. During this period they do not compete with the crop for nutrients and light.
- Cameo Max is extremely selective to the crop. It can be applied from the 2-leaf stage up to the appearance of the flag leaf of the crop.
- Cameo Max can be applied at temperatures below 5 degrees.
- Cameo Max is a two-component solution for more sustainable production!
