'Grain Production - National and European Challenges'

The National Grain Producers Association's national agro seminar will be held in Plovdiv from November 27th to 29th, 2014

Today marks the opening of the fourth national agro seminar of the National Grain Producers Association at the "Novotel Plovdiv" in the city of Plovdiv. Within this year's event theme "Grain Production - National and European Challenges", a Round Table will be held focusing on: "New Rules and Schemes for Direct Payments 2015 - 2020. Ecologically Focused Areas".

Participants in the Round Table will include: the Minister of Agriculture and Food Desislava Taneva, Deputy Ministers Vasil Grudev and Snezhana Blagoeva, Director of the "Direct Payments and Market Support" Directorate at the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. Among the foreign guests who have confirmed their attendance are Christian Schneider, Vice President of the French Maize Producers Association, and Luc Esprit, Permanent Representative of the European Maize Producers Confederation.

Following the forum's opening, a press conference is scheduled for 14:30 in Business Hall 1 of the "Novotel Plovdiv".
