How does AMALGEROL ESSENCE enhance the effect of herbicides when treating maize?

AMALGEROL ESSENCE is a multifunctional, high-quality natural biostimulant for foliar application in cereal, oilseed, fruit and vegetable crops, vineyards and others. Its unsurpassed effect is known to many farmers in many countries around the world.

Today we will present the product in a new light through an example from our practice in recent days, which demonstrates the key role of AMALGEROL ESSENCE in weed control in maize. For comparison, two fields in the region of the town of Vidin were selected, where the maize was sown at the same time by two different agricultural producers. In both fields the maize was treated on 9 May with the same plant protection product – a herbicide with the active substance mesotrione. In the second field, the maize was treated with the herbicide in combination with the biostimulant AMALGEROL ESSENCE at a rate of 200 ml/da.

The results from the second field, treated with a herbicide in combination with AMALGEROL ESSENCE, show active uptake of nutrients from the soil 10–15 times higher compared to normal conditions, because the use of the biostimulant AMALGEROL ESSENCE increases the root volume many times over. As a result, the maize plants use nutrients and water more efficiently and increase their size, while the weeds absorb the herbicide more actively, which leads to their faster die-off. The results are astonishing – 48 hours after treatment a visible effect on the weeds is observed, and after 4 days they have almost disappeared.

In the maize treated only with a mesotrione herbicide, there is no visible rapid effect after treatment, as in the second field. The farmer expects to record results after a period of 10–14 days.

AMALGEROL ESSENCE ensures high and quality yields as it acts in many directions: soil, roots, plants, weed control, support in stress situations, action as an adjuvant, strengthening of plant immunity, decomposition of plant residues.
