AMALGEROL ESSENCE revitalizes cultivated plants after incorrect herbicide

In the spring of 1993, I started working for the first time in Bulgaria with Clearfield technology in several crops. Over time, the negative aspects were overcome and the positives remained, which are well known today. At present, Clearfield and Express technologies are the best-selling technologies in sunflower production in Bulgaria.

A farmer from the Svilengrad region chose precisely Clearfield technology for tolerant sunflower hybrids. The herbicides used for treatment are based on the active substance Imazamox. Due to an error, an area of 300 decares was treated with a herbicide based on the active substance Tribenuron-methyl, which is used for Express-tolerant sunflower hybrids. As a result of the treatment with the wrong plant protection product, the entire crop turned yellow, and in 1–2% of the plants the vegetative apex even began to die. The damage is severe, and in such a situation the usual approach is to plough up the entire affected area because the hybrid dies.

Relying on the qualities of the uniquely formulated biostimulant AMALGEROL ESSENCE and its ability to prove its effect in critical situations, the farmer did not give up but opted for the appropriate biostimulant.

Two applications of AMALGEROL ESSENCE were carried out on the recommendation of the agronomist:

• The first treatment was at a rate of 220 ml/decare, 4 days after spraying with the wrong herbicide.
• The second was 6 days after the first treatment at a rate of 200 ml/decare.

Only 20 days after the first treatment with AMALGEROL ESSENCE, the results were evident: the leaf mass increased, the plants were healthy and vigorous, the leaf colour was dark green, and there were no signs of yellowing or stress.

This is not the first time that AMALGEROL ESSENCE has succeeded where others have no chance, demonstrating a miraculous effect on cultivated plants in severe situations. A block of the wine variety Merlot in the Pomorie region was treated with glyphosate instead of foliar fertilizer. The mistake would have been fatal and would have led to the death of the vines if the block had not been repeatedly treated with AMALGEROL ESSENCE, as a result of which it recovered and again began to produce a normal grape yield. The application rate was 4 treatments of 250 ml/decare within one month.

I strongly recommend that farmers using Clearfield and Express technologies combine the herbicides for the respective technologies with AMALGEROL ESSENCE so that young sunflower plants can more easily withstand herbicide stress, which manifests itself to a greater or lesser extent depending on climatic conditions.
