Up to 1 million euros will be allocated from the PRSP budget for organizations of agricultural producers and retailers.

In the new programming period (2014-2020) of the RDP, support of up to 1 million euros will be provided for the creation of short food supply chains under Priority 3: Promoting food chain organization and risk management in agriculture and specifically: Sub-measure 16.4. "Support for horizontal and vertical cooperation between participants in the supply chain."

The beneficiaries will be organizations composed of farmers, retailers who carry out their activities within the territory defined for a single local market.

All those who meet the definition of a short supply chain can submit documents for participation. The activities of product processing and its transportation to the end customer must be within a radius of up to 120 km from the farms. The goal is to create more and better quality local markets!
