Practices and methods of organic fruit growing

On 28 November 2019 in the city of Plovdiv a joint information meeting - seminar of the NAAS (Territorial District Office - Plovdiv) and the Agricultural University – Plovdiv will be held on the topic “Practices and Methods of Organic Fruit Growing”.

The following topics will be addressed at the meeting by Yordan Yordanov from the “Agroecology” Department at the Agricultural University – Plovdiv:

- General requirements and rules pursuant to Ordinance No. 5/2018 on the implementation of the rules of organic production, labelling and control

- Rules for the production of organic crop products

- Rules for conversion to organic production and other specific rules for production

- Control, certification and measures in cases of non-compliance and infringements

- Opportunities for support to farmers under the measures of the RDP 2014 - 2020
