At the beginning of July, the agrometeorological conditions will be determined by above-normal temperatures and relatively stable weather without precipitation. The rainfall during the preceding period in the field areas of the country will provide, for a certain period, the necessary water in the soil for agricultural crops.

During the period, wheat and barley will be in the wax and full ripeness stages. For spring crops, depending on the sowing dates and the earliness of the hybrids, different phases will occur – leaf formation, inflorescence formation and flowering in sunflower stands, and tasseling in maize.

In the second half of the following period, high maximum temperatures and hot weather are forecast, which will optimize the conditions for conducting the harvest of winter cereal crops. The high temperatures will increase the water requirements of spring and vegetable crops.

During the period, harvesting of fruit and vegetable production will be carried out (sour cherries, apricots, late cherries, cucumbers, zucchini). Depending on the conditions and the storage duration of wheat and barley production, the harvested grain must have a moisture content of 11–12%. The designated storage facilities must be disinfected and well ventilated.

Given the high temperatures, plant protection activities must be carried out in the hours before noon or in the evening, when the air temperature does not exceed 25˚C.
