In the period from 7 to 13 June there is a serious risk of hail and intense precipitation, which will lead to damage to agricultural crops (lodging of wheat stands, injury to fruits in permanent crops)

During the next seven-day period, the agrometeorological conditions will continue to be determined by unstable weather with frequent showers. The vegetation processes of agricultural crops will proceed at temperatures close to the climatic norms.

In wheat, in the field regions of the country the milk ripeness phenophase will be in progress, and in barley stands the transition from milk to wax ripeness will occur. In winter oilseed rape the ripening phenophase will be observed. In spring row crops (maize and sunflower) leaf formation will continue. Fruit enlargement will proceed in fruit species.

During the period, wheat stands should be inspected for the presence and activity of the Sunn pest. Insecticide treatments are required upon reaching the economic injury threshold (2 larvae/m2). In pome fruit species, plant protection measures are related to control of scab and codling moth. In stone fruit species, the aim is protection against powdery mildew and against the harmful activity of fruit moths. In view of the frequent showers, the use of fungicides with combined contact and curative action is recommended.

Conditions for field work will be created during the first days of the period. The likelihood of hail and intense precipitation remains during the second half of the period, as well as the occurrence of damage to agricultural crops (lodging of wheat stands, injury to fruits in permanent crops).
