Alternative essential oil crops and good practices for their cultivation

On 15 May (Wednesday) 2019 in the village of Khan Krum, Shumen region, a joint information meeting - seminar with demonstration will be held by the National Agricultural Advisory Service (TOO - Shumen) and the Agricultural Academy (Experimental Station for Agriculture - Khan Krum) on the topic: „Alternative essential oil crops and good practices in their cultivation“.

At the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Maya Mutafchieva, Experimental Station for Agriculture - Khan Krum, will acquaint farmers with the biological characteristics of various essential oil crops.

In the second part of the information event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mutafchieva will demonstrate technological solutions for the cultivation of essential oil crops at the Experimental Station for Agriculture in Khan Krum.

Experts from TOO - Shumen at the NAAS will present the opportunities for support to farmers under Sub-measure 6.3 of the RDP 2014 - 2020.

The seminar will be held in the village of Khan Krum, Shumen region, 1A “Preslav” Street, in the building of the Experimental Station for Agriculture - Khan Krum.
